Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Tarangire National Park

  • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (or Arusha Airport).
  • Meet your private driver/guide and transfer to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours).
  • Afternoon game drive in Tarangire, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
  • Overnight: Baobab Tented Camp.

Day 2: Full Day in Tarangire National Park

  • Full day of morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire.
  • Search for lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and massive elephant families roaming among the iconic baobab landscape.
  • Enjoy the park's diverse birdlife and scenic river views.
  • Overnight: Baobab Tented Camp.

Day 3: Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

  • Morning game drive in Tarangire as you exit the park.
  • Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park (short drive).
  • Afternoon game drive around the soda lake, famous for tree-climbing lions, flamingos, hippos, and dense groundwater forest.
  • Overnight: Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge (with panoramic views over the lake and rift valley).

Day 4: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

  • Early morning transfer to the endless plains of the Serengeti National Park (approximately 4-5 hours, with picnic lunch).
  • Afternoon game drive en route to your camp, spotting the abundant wildlife the Serengeti is renowned for.
  • Overnight: Robin Serengeti Camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

  • Full day exploring the central or western Serengeti (depending on season and wildlife movements) with morning and afternoon game drives.
  • Track the Big Five, witness predator-prey interactions, and immerse yourself in the vast savannah teeming with wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle.
  • Overnight: Robin Serengeti Camp.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • Early morning game drive in the Serengeti.
  • Transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater (approximately 3-4 hours).
  • Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive inside the world's largest intact volcanic caldera – exceptional density of wildlife including black rhinos, lions, and hyenas.
  • Late afternoon drive to nearby Karatu.
  • Overnight: Olea Farm Lodge in Karatu.

Day 7: Karatu to Arusha & Departure

  • Morning at leisure or optional short activity (such as a coffee tour on the farm grounds).
  • Transfer back to Arusha (approximately 2-3 hours) or directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight (timing based on flight schedule).
